Reddit threads increasingly out-cite brand pages inside Google's AI Overviews, AI Mode, and Perplexity — especially for "best X" and "is X worth it" style queries, the exact queries AEO work is built to win. For several white-label clients on this desk, a single well-earned, non-promotional Reddit presence moves AI-citation share faster than months of on-site content alone. This internship exists to build and run that motion properly: ethically, subreddit-by-subreddit, never as spam or astroturfing.

## What you'll do
- Monitor relevant subreddits across client verticals for genuine discussion opportunities — never mass-posting or astroturfing
- Track which client-relevant queries surface Reddit threads in Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, and Perplexity, and report the pattern
- Map the subreddit communities relevant to each client vertical: audience, tone, moderation norms, and which existing threads already carry authority
- Draft (and, once trusted, post) genuinely useful, non-promotional contributions that build durable entity presence over time
- Run light competitor Reddit-presence audits per client
- Log findings in a shared tracker and contribute a section to weekly client reporting
- Learn and apply the agency's entity/topical-mapping methodology to Reddit specifically, under direct review

## Requirements
- A genuinely active, fluent Reddit user — you understand subreddit culture, karma norms, and what gets a post removed before you post it
- Strong written English that can be helpful without reading as promotional
- Comfortable with basic SEO concepts, or a fast learner willing to pick them up — training is provided
- Detail-oriented enough to follow a research and reporting process consistently, unsupervised
- Reliable async communicator — this is a remote, deliverable-driven role, not a desk-time one

## Nice to have
- Prior SEO, content, or community-management experience
- Familiarity with how AI Overviews / answer engines select and cite sources
- Comfortable working inside a shared spreadsheet or Airtable-style tracking workflow
