Advanced Manual Technical SEO Audit
Every finding verified by hand — not a tool export with a logo slapped on.
Most 'audits' are a Screaming Frog export dressed up as a deliverable — hundreds of auto-flagged warnings, no prioritisation, no root cause. This isn't that. I crawl your site, then verify every meaningful finding by hand against server logs, rendered DOM, and real Search Console data — rendering, indexation, canonical logic, internal-link equity flow, and schema — so you get root causes, not a wall of tool noise your team has to triage themselves.
The technical layer is where most SEO budget quietly leaks. Google's own field data shows 43% of websites still fail the INP (Interaction to Next Paint) threshold of 200ms — the newest Core Web Vital, which replaced FID in 2024 and now carries equal ranking weight to LCP and CLS. Pages ranking position one are measurably more likely to pass all three Core Web Vitals than pages sitting at position nine. A technical audit isn't a compliance checkbox; it's finding the specific ceiling capping every other investment you're making in content and links.
You leave with a prioritised action report: what to fix, why it matters, the expected impact, and the exact implementation — written for humans and for the developer who has to ship it. No 300-row spreadsheet with no sense of what actually matters first.
What you get
Outcomes, not activity
A prioritised fix list ranked by impact vs. effort (ICE), not raw severity noise
Root-cause diagnosis for indexation, rendering, and crawl-waste issues — not just symptoms
A concrete INP/LCP/CLS diagnosis naming the specific bottleneck, not a generic 'improve speed' note
Developer-ready implementation notes for every recommendation
A clear before/after view of the technical ceiling on your rankings
A defensible audit you (or your agency) can present to a client or stakeholder with confidence
Deliverables
What's included
Crawl & architecture review
Crawl depth, orphan pages, internal-link equity distribution, faceted/parameter handling, and exactly where crawl budget is being wasted.
Server-log analysis
What Googlebot is actually doing — crawl frequency, response codes, and rendering behaviour — cross-referenced against Search Console, not assumed from it.
Rendering & indexation
JS-rendering parity between what a user sees and what Googlebot indexes, index bloat, canonical/hreflang logic, and noindex/robots conflicts.
Schema & structured data
JSON-LD validation, entity/@graph coverage, rich-result eligibility, and conflict detection — checked against the schema types that actually correlate with AI Overview inclusion (Organization, Article, FAQPage, HowTo, BreadcrumbList).
Core Web Vitals & performance
LCP/INP/CLS diagnosis at the field + lab level, with the specific bottleneck named — render-blocking resources, layout shift sources, or interaction latency, not a vague 'optimise images' note.
Prioritised action report
Impact-ranked roadmap with implementation detail — human-readable, dev-ready, and honest about what will and won't move the needle.
How it works
The process
Discovery
Goals, tech stack, analytics/GSC/server-log access, and the money pages that actually matter to the business.
Crawl + manual verification
Automated crawl (Screaming Frog, log analysis), then hand-verification of every material finding against the rendered site and real data.
Root-cause diagnosis
Tracing each symptom back to its actual cause — a rendering issue is not the same fix as a crawl-budget issue, even when they look similar in a tool export.
Prioritised reporting
ICE-ranked roadmap with root causes, fixes, and expected impact.
Walkthrough
A live call so you and your dev team leave with zero ambiguity about what to build and why.
Fit
Who this is for
- Agencies needing a white-label, NDA-safe technical audit under their brand
- SaaS/e-commerce sites where technical debt is capping organic growth despite good content
- Teams who want root causes and a plan, not a 300-row tool export they have to interpret themselves
- Sites that recently redesigned or migrated and need to confirm nothing broke silently

Diagnosing & Recovering a Post-Update Traffic Drop
A site blamed a Google update for a traffic drop. The real cause was partly technical — and fixable.

Common questions
How is this different from a Screaming Frog / Sitebulb report?+
Those are inputs, not outputs. I run them, then manually verify every meaningful finding against server logs and rendered output, and translate the result into a prioritised, root-cause action plan a developer can actually ship — not an auto-generated warnings list.
Can you deliver it white-label under my agency's brand?+
Yes. Ghost-partner delivery under full NDA is my core model — your brand, my infrastructure, your client never sees my name.
Do you also implement the fixes?+
I hand off dev-ready implementation notes; implementation can be scoped separately, run through your own team with my oversight, or handled as part of a Full-Cycle Ghost Partner Retainer engagement.
What's INP and why does it matter now?+
Interaction to Next Paint measures how quickly your site responds to a real user interaction — a click, a tap, a keypress. It replaced FID as a Core Web Vital in 2024 and now carries equal ranking weight to LCP and CLS. It's currently the most commonly failed Core Web Vital across the web, which makes it one of the highest-leverage technical fixes available.
Will this find things Search Console already shows me?+
Some overlap is expected — but Search Console reports symptoms in aggregate, days or weeks delayed, without root cause. This audit explains the 'why' behind what GSC flags and catches what it under-reports, especially JS-rendering discrepancies and crawl-budget waste.
